הסכם נישואין קראי בין חנניה בן יעקב הלוי לבין אסתר המכונה עזיזה בת אליהו בן סעדיה. התאריך: ב' בניסן ה'תקע"ו (1816). כמקובל בנוסחאות של מסמכים משפחתיים קראיים, עזיזה נרשמת תחילה בשם אסתר, אך יש לקרוא את הראשון כשמה שבו היא נקראת בפועל. הנדוניה היא 22,000 פִצ'ה. הכלה והחתן מסכימים על שורה של תנאים לנישואין: כבוד הדדי לסמכות בני הזוג, תנאים האוסרים על אלימות פיזית מצד הבעל, שבועות העומדות בניגוד לדין הדתי, וכן מתחייב הבעל שלא יעליב את קרובי משפחתה (הן את החיים והן את המתים).
Princeton Geniza Project description: Karaite marriage agreement between Hananya b. Ya'aqov Halevi and Esther known as 'Aziza d. Eliyyahu b. Sa'adya. Date: 2 Nisan 5576 AM (1816 CE). As is customary in the formulae of Karaite marital documents, 'Aziza is first listed as Esther, but the former should be read as her given name. The dowry is 22,000 fiḍḍa. The bride and groom agree to a variety of conditions for the marriage: respect for spousal authority, conditions against physical violence by the husband, oaths that run counter to religious law, and the husband also agree he will not insult her relatives (both those who are alive and dead).
