מסמך בית דין משנת 1015 העוסק באישה תושבת רמלה הממנה מיופה כוח כדי לתבוע את בעלה הדמשקאי, שנעלם שנתיים קודם לכן מבלי שהותיר לה דבר למחייתה. האישה הביעה נכונות לחדש את חיי הזוגיות עמו, או לחלופין לדרוש גט עם כל התשלומים הכרוכים בכך, ובכלל זה דמי המזונות עבור שנתיים שבהן נעדר.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Court record from 1015 concerning a woman in Ramla appointing a representative to sue her Damascene husband who had disappeared two years earlier without leaving her anything. She was prepared to renew their common life, or else demand a divorce, with all the payments involved, including the cost of maintenance for two years. (S. D.
