קבלת עדות משפטית. העדות נגבתה בסונבאט והמסמך עצמו נערך שלושה חודשים מאוחר יותר במניית אשנא. תאריך: העשור האמצעי של אייר א'תנ"ט למניין השטרות, כלומר מאי 1148. נכתב בידי טוביה בן עלי הכהן, וחתום עליו טוביה עצמו ושלה בן יפת. העדות היא של ברכות בן אהרן המומחה הכהן ושל אברהם בן יצחק, ועניינה החרמת רכושו של רפאל בן אבו רונא — ככל הנראה נוצרי — שהופקד אצל יהודי בשם מסלם בן יצחק על ידי פקיד ממשלתי ("אסתאד'"). בסיפור מעורבים פרד והלשנת אנשים לרשויות. לפי גויטיין. צירוף שזוהה על ידי עודד צינגר.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal testimony (קבלת עדות). Location: the testimony was collected in Sunbāṭ and the document was drawn up three months later in Minyat Ashna. Dated: Middle decade of Iyyār 1459 Seleucid, which is May 1148 CE. Written by Ṭoviyya b. ʿEli ha-Kohen. Signed by Ṭoviyya and by Shela b. Yefet. Testimony of Berakhot b. Aharon ha-Mumhe ha-Kohen and Avraham b. Yiṣḥaq about the sequestering of the belongings of Rafāʾīl b. Abu Runa, probably a Christian, which were deposited with a Jew named Musallam b.
