טקסט אסטרולוגי בכתב ערבי. השורה הראשונה מונה את כוכבי הלכת, והשורה השנייה את מזלות גלגל המזלות — ייתכן שמדובר בתיעוד מיקום כוכבי הלכת במזלות בזמן מסוים. החלק האמצעי של הקטע מכיל שיר עברי (ארהאט') מאת או מוקדש לאבו סעד בן ישראל הזקן (אלתסתרי?), שהועתק בידי תלמידו. החלק התחתון של הקטע נראה כתשובה לשאלה או כדברים המופנים לתלמיד או חניך, ועוסק בפילוסופיה של הידיעה — יש שהיא ניתנת להם כמתנה, ויש שנמנעת מהם.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Astrological text, in Arabic script. The first line lists planets and the second line zodiac signs, maybe showing the placement of planets in the zodiac signs at a [particular time. Middle part of the fragment is a Hebrew poetry (arhāṭ) by (or dedicated to?) Abū Saʿd b. Yisra'el ha-Zaqen (al-Tustari?), copied by his student. Bottom of the fragment seems like an answer to a question or addressed to a student or disciple discussing the philosophy of knowledge, some are bestowed with it whilst some are bereft of it.
