מסמך משפטי בכתב ידו של חלפון בן מנשה (פעיל בשנים 1100–1138 לערך). העניין הנדון נסוב סביב סחורת משי, חלקה בצורת חוטי משי שזורים ("מפתול"). בעלי הדין הנזכרים הם חלפון, אברהם וחכם. ייתכן שמדובר בהפסד עסקי שהוביל לסכסוך ולפשרה, במסגרתה הצהיר אחד הצדדים שלעולם לא ידרוך עוד בביתו של יריבו. עובדה מעניינת היא שהמסמך עבר עריכה, ובמהלכה הוחלפו כינויי הגוף — מגוף ראשון לגוף שלישי ולהפך.
Princeton Geniza Project description: P12 + P13: Legal document in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe (fl. 1100–1138 CE). Involves: silk merchandise, some of it in the form of twisted silk yarn ("maftūl"); parties named Ḥalfon, Avraham, and Ḥakam; possibly a business loss and a dispute and a resolution, which involves one of them stating that he will never enter the opponent's house. Interestingly, this document was edited and the pronouns were switched around (first person to third person and vice versa).
