מסמך מדינה, בכתב ערבי. ככל הנראה חלק מדיווח או התכתבות רשמית. קורא בחלקו: 'כפי שזקני הבדואים יודעים...' (ka-mā ʿarafa shuyūkh al-ʿarab...). יש גם כתב ערבי בשוליים אך זה ככל הנראה משימוש חוזר מאוחר יותר.
Princeton Geniza Project description: State document, in Arabic script. Probably a part of a report or official correspondence. Reads in part: "as the elders of the Bedouins are aware..." (ka-mā ʿarafa shuyūkh al-ʿarab...). There is also Arabic script in the margin but that is probably from later reuse.
