Princeton Geniza Project description: State document, in Arabic script. Decree of Ṭalāʾiʿ, the vizier of al-Fāʾiz, concerning the monks of Mount Sinai. The vizier Ṭalāʾiʿ orders that the tax of 10 dīnārs and two carpets lately exacted by the governors from Anthony, bishop of Mount Sinai, be abolished and the bishop and his monks protected.
