איגרת מן הישיבה בפומבדיתא לשני אנשים מקירואן, סביב שנת 850. אנשי הישיבה מתלוננים על התמיכה הכלכלית שהם מקבלים מן המערב, שהיא מועטה בהרבה מן התמיכה הניתנת לישיבת סורא. הכותב הוא ככל הנראה האיי בן שרירא, שעתיד היה להיות גאון בהמשך. (המידע מבוסס על גיל, מלכות, כרך 2, מס' 4)
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from the yeshiva in Pumbedita to two people from Qayrawan, around 850. The yeshiva members complain about the economic support that they get from the west, which is much less than the support for the yeshiva in Sura. The writer is probably Hayye b.
