רקטו: מסמך משפטי, ככל הנראה שטר מכר של אדם משועבד. ניתן להסיק זאת מכך שהמוכר מאשר שהממכר נקי ממומים (עיוב), והערה בסוף המסמך מציינת כי המילה "בעבודיה" (באלעבודיה — כלומר "בשעבוד") הוכנסה בין השורות במקום כלשהו בחלק העליון של המסמך שאבד (להקשר הסביר של מילה זו ראו את המסמך ת"ש 18J1.16). הצדדים המוזכרים הם אפרים הלוי, אבו אלט'[אהר?], ו[...] בן נחמן הכהן החזן, אביו של יכין הסוכן (אלוכיל). כתב היד אולי של הלל בן עלי. בוורסו מופיעים פירוש או דיון מלומד על נביאי ישראל ומלכיה, ובהם אזכורים של עיראק, אסתר וספר דניאל, וכן ציטוטים בעברית. Princeton Geniza Project description: Recto: Legal document, probably a deed of sale for an enslaved person. This can be deduced because a seller certifies that something is free of defects (ʿuyūb), and a note at the end of the document indicates that the word "in slavery" (באלעבודיה) has been inserted in between the lines somewhere in the missing upper portion (see T-S 18J1.16 for the likely context of this word). The parties are Efrayim ha-Levi, Abū l-Ṭ[āhir?], and [...] b. Naḥman ha-Kohen the cantor, the father of Yakhin the agent (al-wakīl). Hand of Hillel b. ʿEli? On verso there is a commentary or learned discussion of the biblical prophets and kings of Israel, mentioning Iraq, Esther and the book of Daniel, and including Hebrew citations.
