מכתבים בכתב ערבי. הרקטו והוורסו הם שני מכתבים שונים בשתי כתבי יד שונים. הוורסו עוסק ככל הנראה בכלב ציד שנרכש על ידי יוּחַנָּא לפני כמה ימים, אך ברח מן הבוסתאן לאחר לילה אחד ונמצא על ידי בדואי. מישהו סיפר לכותב כי מנהגם של הבדואים להחזיק אצלם כלבים ובזים שהם מוצאים, דבר שגרם למצוקה רבה לכותב מאתמול ועד היום. במכתב מוזכר 'אלמַוְלַא אלכַּבִּיר' (האדון הגדול) וכן זנים שונים של כלבים, ובהם הסַלוּקִיַּה. דרוש עיון נוסף.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letters in Arabic script. Recto and verso are in two different letters in two different hands. Verso seems to be about a hunting dog which was purchased by Yūḥannā a couple days ago but which ran away from the bustān after one night and was found by a Bedouin. Somebody told the writer that their custom is to keep dogs and falcons which they find, which has distressed the writer from yesterday till today. Mentions 'al-mawlā al-kabīr' and different breeds of dogs including Salūqiyya. Needs further examination
