מכתב פגוע מאוד. בערבית יהודית. הטקסט שחוק וקשה לקריאה, אך נראה שהמכתב הוא בעל אופי פרטי או משפחתי. הכתב מציג כמה מאפיינים מגרביים. מופנה אל מבורך או אל [...] בן מבורך. מובאים דיווחים שונים. מוזכרים אל-פֻקָּאעִי, אל-ע'למאן, אבו אל-מעאני. ברכות לחמות השולח. בסופו: "כיסופַי אליך הם אש הצורבת... את הלב מעוצמת הכאב." יש כתובת, אך היא כמעט לגמרי שחוקה.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Very damaged letter. In Judaeo-Arabic. The text is rubbed and hard to read, but the letter seems to be of a private or family nature. The hand has some Maghrebi features. Addressed to either Mevorakh or [...] b. Mevorakh. Various reports are given. Mentions al-Fuqqāʿī, al-ghilmān, Abū l-Maʿānī. Greetings to the sender's mother-in-law. At the end, "my longing for you is a fire that scorches... the heart from the intensity of the pain." There is an address, but it is almost completely rubbed out.
