מכתב בכתב ערבי. מעורב בו גם מעט עברית; "הברית" (البريث) מוזכרת בשורה 1 של הרקטו, כנראה כחלק משבועה. השולח מזכיר עסקאות ושיח בינו לבין אבו אל-חסן [...] אל-וכיל. בוורסו, מוסר בעיקר ברכות לאנשים שונים ומהם, כולל ראש הישיבה (ראס אל-מת'יבה) השולח מסר. דרוש בדיקה נוספת.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter in Arabic script. There is also some Hebrew mixed in; "the covenant" (البريث) is mentioned in recto line 1, likely as part of an oath. The sender mentions transactions and dialogue between himself and Abū l-Ḥasan [...] al-Wakīl. On verso, mainly conveys greetings to and from various people, including the head of the Yeshiva (Raʾs al-Mathība) who sends a message. Needs further examination.
