מכתב מצדקה אל-יהודי אל אֻם אל-ח'יר בת נור אל-דין אל-חכים בן [...], ייתכן שבבלביס (הכתובת ניזוקה). בכתב ערבי. תיארוך: לא לפני 1415 לסה"נ, שכן המכתב מזכיר את המטבע 'נֻצף' (חצי-כסף) שהוטבע לראשונה בתקופת הסולטנות הממלוכית על ידי הסולטאן אל-מֻאיַד שַׁיח' (שלט 1412–1421). השולח מבקש מהנמענת למסור את ה'קֻמאש' (בד/אריג) באופן מיידי, או, אם לא עשתה דבר, להעביר את עשרים מטבעות חצי-הכסף.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Ṣedaqa al-Yahūdī to Umm al-Khayr bt. Nūr al-Dīn al-Ḥakīm b. [...], possibly in Bilbays (the address is damaged). In Arabic script. Dating: No earlier than 1415 CE, since it refers to the currency 'nuṣf' (half-silver) first minted under the Mamlūk Sultanate by Sultan al-Muʾayyad Shaykh (r. 1412-1421). The sender tells the addressee to deliver the 'qumāsh' immediatelly, or if she hasn't done anything, the 20 half-silver pieces.
