שני דפים מספר תרופות רפואיות מעניינות, ביהודית-ערבית. התרופות השמורות כאן הן תכשירים מקומיים, למשל לנגעי עור וכיבים, קוסמטיקה לפנים, ותחבושות כולל אחת לדימום וסת כבד ודימום ווגינלי בהריון: (קח) עדשים קלופים, קליפת רימון, זעפרן, קציעה, זרע אל-אמיר בריס (= ברברים = ברברי); אלה יש לטחון ולהפוך למשחה עם חומץ ולמרוח על הבטן/רחם (בטן) ועל עצם הערווה (עאנה).
Princeton Geniza Project description: Two leaves from a book of interesting medical remedies, in Judaeo-Arabic. The remedies preserved here are topicals, e.g., for skin lesions and ulcers, cosmetics for the face, and compresses including one for heavy menstrual bleeding and vaginal bleeding during pregnancy: (take) peeled lentils, pomegranate peel, saffron, gallnut, seed of al-Amīr Bārīs (= barbārīs = barberry); these should be ground up and made into a paste with vinegar and applied to the belly/uterus (baṭn) and to the pubic region (ʿāna).
