Princeton Geniza Project description: Recto: part of a text on dentistry and oral hygiene, discussing dental caries, dentifrice powder (sanūnāt) prepared from gigantic swallowwort and burnt snails. Perhaps Ibn al-Jazzār, Zād al-musāfir wa-qūt al-ḥāḍir (‘Provisions for the traveller and nourishment for the sedentary’). Verso: jottings in large letters, probably part of a document.
