ייפוי כוח המשובץ בתוך מכתב. יכין בן אלעזר ממנית זפתא כותב לאבו אל-חסן ולאבו אל-מנא ומורה להם לשלם ארבעה דינרים ליוסף בן עלון אל-מקדסי, שהם מחיר המסטיק והשק שבו הוא ארוז. שאר המסמך מהווה את ייפוי הכוח עצמו: יכין מצהיר שיוסף הוא שלוחו לצורך קבלת ארבעת הדינרים הללו, וכי הנמענים פטורים מכל אחריות וחבות ברגע שישלמו את הסכום. חתומים כעדים: אברהם בן נתן ו[משו]לם בן מבורך. Princeton Geniza Project description: Power of attorney embedded in a letter. Yakhin b. Elʿazar of Minyat Zifta writes to Abū l-Ḥasan and Abū l-Munā and instructs them to pay four dinars to Yosef b. ʿAllūn al-Maqdisī, which is the price of the mastic and the sack containing the mastic. The remainder of the document is the power of attorney, in which Yakhin declares that Yosef is his agent for the purposes of receiving these four dinars, and the addressees are free from any liability once they pay the four dinars.
