מכתב המכיל קינה, שנשלח מנהראי בן נתן אל הדיין אברהם בן נתן אב בית הדין (אברהם מכונה כאן "יסוד הישיבה"). הקינה נכתבה על ראש 'מדרש' — ייתכן שמדובר ב"רב" או בנהראי בן נסים. לפי גויטיין, "הקינה גרועה במיוחד" מבחינה ספרותית. התיארוך: סוף המאה ה-11 או ראשית המאה ה-12.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter consisting of a dirge, sent from Nahray b. Natan to the judge Avraham b. Natan Av Bet Din (Avraham is here called "Yesod ha-Yeshiva"). The dirge is for the head of a 'Midrash' - possibly the Rav or Nahray b. Nissim. Goitein writes, "the dirge is particularly inept." Dating: late 11th or early 12th century.
