חשבונות הקשורים להובלת חבילה (בלה) של בד ארגמן השייכת לאבו אלאפראח' בן יוסף, מפֻסטאט אל ספאקס. תיארוך: בסביבות 1100 לספירה. המסמך מאלף במיוחד, שכן הוא כולל לא פחות מחמישים ושמונה פרטים הנוגעים למשלוח בודד זה. ברוב חשבונות אחרים שהשתמרו בגניזה מצוינות רק ההוצאות וההכנסות העיקריות, ואילו כאן נשמרה רשימה מפורטת במיוחד. תרגומו של גויטיין מצורף, ודיון מקיף במסמך מובא אצלו. בשורה 8 ברקטו מופיעה גם התייחסות ל[אגרת] חתימת המשלוח (חתם) ולג'הבד'ה (עמלת שירותי הבנקאי-שולחני).
Princeton Geniza Project description: Accounts for the transport of a bale of purple cloth belonging to Abū l-Afrāḥ b. Yosef, from Old Cairo to Sfax. Dating: ca. 1100 CE. This document is particularly instructive, as it contains no less than fifty-eight detials concerning one single shipment. In most of the other accounts preserved in the Geniza only the major expenses and proceeds are listed. Goitein's translation is attached. A full discussion may be found in Med Soc I, pp. 339ff. Recto, line 8, also contains a reference to a [fee for] sealing of the consignment and jahbadha.
