דף מתוך פנקס בית דין. רקטו: הצהרה על חוב של פרנס. תיארוך: בערך 1151 לסה"נ, כאשר במסמך נזכרת תקופה בשנת 1462 למניין השטרות (סלאוקי) ולא התאריך המדויק שבו נרשמה הרשומה לאחר מכן. הפרנס אבו סעיד בן חאתם היה אחראי על גביית שכר דירה של 118 דרהם בחודש מ"נכסי בני ירושלים" (אסתאר אלמקאדסה / רכוש הירושלמים). כמו כן היה ממונה על גביית 110 דרהם בחודש ממקום ששמו לא השתמר. נראה כי המסמך הוא חַוַאלָה (העברת חוב/המחאה) מן הפרנס הזה אל פרנס אחר, אבו אלח'יר אלצירפי. שלושה מחברי בית הדין — יעקב בן אברהם, אפרים בן משולם, ונתן בן שמואל — חותמים על המסמך, ככל הנראה לאחר שהסכום נפרע במזומן. ורסו, החלק העליון: הצהרה שנייה, שנכתבה על גב ההצהרה הקודמת, ככל הנראה במטרה לעדכן את היחסים הכספיים בין אותו פרנס לבין הקודש, ובה אישור על חוב המגיע לו מן הקודש. בחלק העליון מאושרים 209.75 דרהם המגיעים לו עבור תיקונים שבוצעו בנכסי בני ירושלים, וכן 230 דרהם עבור שטר בנקאי (סֻפְתַּגַ'ה?). ורסו, החלק התחתון: הצהרה של זקן אחר בשם יוסף, ולפיה הסכום הנזכר הוצא בפועל לצורך תיקונים, למעט 13 דרהם ששימשו לפינוי אשפה. נזכר גם אבו אלברכאת בן סהל. שני החלקים חתומים בידי חברי בית הדין.

Princeton Geniza Project description: Folio from a court notebook. Recto: Statement about the debt of a parnas. Dating: ca. 1151 CE, mentioning a timespan in 1462 Seleucid rather than the exact date of the entry's recording thereafter. The parnas Abū Saʿīd b. Ḥātim was in charge of collecting 118 dirhams rent monthly from the "estate of the Jerusalemites." He also was in charge of collecting 110 dirhams per month from a place whose name is lost. The document seems to be a ḥawāla from this parnas to another parnas Abū l-Khayr al-Ṣayrafi. Three members of the court (Yaʿaqov b. Avraham, Efrayim b. Meshullam, and Natan b. Shemuel) sign it, apparently after the sum was cashed in. (Information from Gil, Documents, pp. 264 #51) Verso, upper part: A second statement, written on the verso of the previous statement, apparently to update the financial relationship between the same parnas and the qodesh, confirms a debt owed to him by the qodesh. The upper part confirms 209.75 dirhams due to him for repairs in the estate of the Jerusalemites, and 230 dirhams for a banker's note (suftaja?). Verso, lower part: A declaration by another elder, Yosef, that the sum mentioned was spent for repairs with the exception of 13 dirhams for removal of garbage. Abū l-Barakāt b. Sahl is mentioned.
