מסמך משפטי. מיקום: פוסטאט. הקטע הראשון נערך תחת סמכותו של מבורך (בן סעדיה). מוזכרים בו: סוריה (אלשאם); אבו אסחאק...; אברהם הידוע בכינוי אבן בקרה (ככל הנראה נכדו של זה שחי בימי אבן עוכל); ויאיר בן אלעזר בן עביס (שורה 15). המסמך עוסק בעניינו של יתום ובסכום של 247 דינרים (שורה 18). בכתב יד אחר נכתב: "שלוחו עולה הלוי הנאמן". מספר שורות נמחקו, וישנן תוספות בין השורות ובשוליים. (המידע מכרטיסיית גויטיין.) הקטע השני הוא אף הוא מסמך משפטי מפוסטאט, וככל הנראה נערך בשנים 1094–1111 לסה"נ, שכן הוא נכתב בבית הדין של [מבורך בן סעדיה לאחר שזכה בתואר] שר השרים. מעורבים בו: יהודה בן פצ'לאן; [...] בן משה הידוע בכינוי אבן עצפורה; וכמה מבני משפחת אבן אלשויכייה, ובהם משולם [בן היבה] (שכנראה כבר נפטר), אבו אלפצ'ל, וניסים ואמו בהייה בת חלפון (אשתו או אלמנתו של משולם). המסמך מתייחס לאדם שהציג ייפויי כוח, ולשני אנשים שנפרדו לאחר שחרור הדדי. בית הדין חוקר אנשים שונים, ובהם קרובי משפחה של הצדדים. מוזכרים סכומים נכבדים של 102 דינרים ושל 72 דינרים. דרושה בדיקה נוספת. ראו גם מסמכים נוספים הקשורים לעניין, אשר אף הם דורשים בדיקה נוספת. החיבור בין הקטעים זוהה על ידי עודד זינגר.

Princeton Geniza Project description: Description from T-S 12.148: Legal document. Location: Fustat. Dating: Under the authority of Mevorakh (b. Seʿadya). Mentions: Syria (al-Shām); Abū Isḥāq... Avraham known as Ibn Baqara (seems to be the grandson of the one in Ibn ʿAwkal's time); and Yaʾir b. Elʿazar b. ʿUbays (l. 15). Concerning an affair of an orphan and 247 dinars (l. 18). In another hand: "his agent ʿUlla ha-Levi ha-Neʾeman." Several lines are crossed out, and there are interlinear and marginal additions. (Information from Goitein's index card.) Involves Yehuda b. Faḍlān; [...] b. Moshe known as Ibn ʿUṣfūra; and several members of the Ibn al-Shuwaykiyya family, including Meshullam [b. Hiba] (who is probably dead), Abū l-Faḍl, and Nissim and his mother Bahiyya bt. Ḥalfon (the wife or widow of Meshullam). Refers to a person who presented powers of attorney and two people who separated after a mutual release. The court questions various people, including relatives of the parties.
