מכתב או מסמך רשמי בכתב ערבי. בצד אחד הרווח בין השורות צר (חלק זה מזכיר מצודה/קלעה), ובצד השני הרווח בין השורות רחב (חלק זה פונה אל מישהו בתואר "אלג'נאב אלעאלי" ומזכיר את האחסאן והצדקאת שלו). המסמך שבצד האחורי הוא ככל הנראה צו (דכרי), ככל הנראה מהמאות ה-12-13 על סמך שיקולים פלאוגרפיים, ואילו המסמך שבצד השני הוא מכתב או עצומה. דרושה בחינה נוספת.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter(s) or official document(s) in Arabic script. Narrow space between the lines on one side (this part mentions a fortress/qalʿa), wide space between the lines on the other (this part addresses somebody as "al-jināb al-ʿāl" and mentions his iḥsān and ṣadaqāt). The document on verso is most likely a decree, probably 12-13th c based on paleographic grounds and the document on verso is a letter or petition. Needs further examination.
