הליך משפטי. מעאלי הכהן, סוכנו של יוסף בן צדקה החבר, הופיע בבית הדין והצהיר כי — אלא אם יקבל היתר מפורש מבית הדין — לא יגבה תשלום עבור מקום האחסון ולא דמי העברה עבור מחצית מהעצים שהוא מעלה לאשת אבו יעקב הידוע בשם אבן נחום, שהיא גיסתו. עצים אלה נמצאים בבית (דאר) שהוא חלקה של אחותה, אשת אבו אלפצ'איל, שירשה מאביה. הבית, חלוקתו בין שתי האחיות, והעצים הנדונים, מוזכרים גם במסמך נוסף (PGPID 8962). בתחתית המסמך מופיע השם אברהם בן שמעיה החבר, באותו כתב יד של גוף המסמך — ייתכן שהוא היה הסופר. עם זאת, אין זה מסמך שלם: הוא אינו נושא תאריך ואין בו חתימות עדים נוספות.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal proceedings. Maʿālī ha-Kohen, the agent of Yosef b. Ṣedaqa he-Ḥaver, appeared before the court and declared that—unless granted explicit permission by the court—he would not charge for the storage space nor the transfer fee for half of the wood which he brings up for the wife of Abū Yaʿaqov known as Ibn Naḥum, who is his sister-in-law. This wood is in the house (dār) which is the share of her sister, the wife of Abū l-Faḍāʾil, which she inherited from her father. The house, it's division between the two sisters, and the wood involved, are also mentioned in PGPID 8962. The name Avraham b. Shemaʿya he-Ḥaver appears at the bottom in the same hand as the document; he may have been the scribe. But this is not a complete document, as it is not dated and there are no other witness signatures.
