קטע ממכתב בערבית-יהודית, עם פתיחה פיוטית בעברית, הממוען לחבר מסוים. הכתובת ממוקמת (באופן חריג) בתחתית הקטע. קשה לשחזר את הסיפור משום שמחציתו השמאלית חסרה. ככל הנראה, לאחר שהשולח נפרד מן הנמען, השוטר (אל-ראג'ל) עצר אותו. (מוזכר גם הקור, אך ההקשר אינו ברור.) הוא נמלט, ומישהו אמר להם "זה החבר... זה החבר של פלוני. לכו ותפסו אותו!" בהמשך מוזכר משהו שאמר אחיו של השולח; מישהו שתובע אותנו או רב עמנו; ומשהו שאמר שלמה.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Fragment of a letter in Judaeo-Arabic, with a poetic Hebrew introduction, addressed to a certain Ḥaver. The address is located (unusually) at the bottom. The story is difficult to reconstruct as the left half is missing. It seems that after the sender left the addressee, the police (al-rājil) apprehended him. (Also mentions the cold, but the context isn't clear.) He ran away, and someone said to them "this is the friend . . . this is the friend of so-and-so. Go and get him!" Then mentions something the sender's brother said; someone suing or fighting us; and something Shelomo said.
