שריד של איגרת ששוגרה מטעם הישיבה ומופנה אל "כל קהילות ישראל אשר בארץ ישראל ובמבצריה, בעריה ובכפריה... אשר נותרו בארץ ישראל ואל אלה אשר בארץ מצרים הקוראים לעצמם ארץ-ישראליים", כלומר אל קהילות היהודים בארץ ישראל ובמצרים. האיגרת מתוארכת לסוף המאה העשירית או לתחילת המאה האחת-עשרה.
