מכתב בקשה או המלצה לצדקה, ככל הנראה. בערבית-יהודית. כתוב בכתב מרובע גדול ובכתיבה גסה. באופן מבלבל, מופיעות במכתב שתי כתובות נפרדות. באחת מהן, יעקב בן יצחק שולח דרישת שלום אל "הקהל". בשנייה נאמר כי החזן סעדיה בן צדקה שולח את המכתב הזה ממניית זפתא אל "אדוניי וזקניי, אנשי גוג'ר". גוף המכתב עצמו דורש בחינה נוספת לבירור תוכנו. הצד השני נוצל מחדש לכתיבת האלפבית השומרוני וכן לרשימות שוליים בלתי מזוהות. Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter of appeal or recommendation for charity, probably. In Judaeo-Arabic. Written in a large square script in a crude hand. Confusingly, there are two addresses. In one, Yaʿaqov b. Yiṣḥaq greets 'the community.' In the other, it states that the cantor Saʿadya b. Ṣedaqa is sending this letter from Minyat Zifta to 'my masters and elders, the people of Jūjar.' The letter itself requires further examination for content.
