רישום משפטי. המקום: דמיאט (אי כפתור). התאריך: [כ]"ז בתשרי א'תס"ז למניין השטרות = 25 בספטמבר 1155. אדם כלשהו מעיד כי בשובו מבית הכנסת מצא את בנותיה של אחותו של אבו אלפצ'ל בן אלצבאע' בביתו. אחת מהן (אחותו של אבו אלפצ'ל הזקן?) מצוטטת בהרחבה, ומדווחת שהדאעי אמר לה כי אחיה השאיר בביתה שלוש מחברות (השייכות לו?). למחרת היום הלכה אל אשתו של אבו אלרצ'א, שאמרה לה: "בעלי הדאעי הוא איש טוב, אל תסתירי ממנו דבר." משכך מסרה לו את המפתח, והדאעי ואבו עלי [בן] חסון עלו, פשטו על ספרייתה ולקחו עמם 17 מחברות. ייתכן שהקטע BL OR 5554A.48 הוא המשך של מסמך זה או מסמך נפרד הקשור לאותה פרשה (מזכיר כמה מן השמות המופיעים כאן וגם הוא נושא את התאריך 27 בתשרי 1155).
Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal record. Location: Damietta [אי כפתור]. Dated: [2]7 Tishrei 1467 Seleucid = 25 September 1155 CE. Somebody testifies that as he was returning from the synagogue, he found the daughters of the sister of Abū l-Faḍl b. al-Ṣabbāgh in his house. One of them (the sister of the alte Abū l-Faḍl?) is quoted at length, reporting that the Dāʿī told her that her brother had left three notebooks in her house (belonging to him?). The next day, she went to the wife of Abū l-Riḍā, who told her, "my husband the Dāʿī is a good man, don't hide anything from." So she handed over the key, and the Dāʿī and Abū ʿAlī [b.] Ḥassūn went up and ransacked her library and made off with 17 notebooks. BL OR 5554A.48 is either the continuation of this document or a different document related to the same case (mentions several of the same names and is also dated the 27th of Tishrei 1155 CE).
