רקטו: דיווח מדיני. ארבע שורות שרדו. מוזכר בו "בו כליג'אר מלך אהוואז", שככל הנראה יש לזהותו עם האמיר הבוויהי אבו כאליג'אר מרזבאן ששלט בפרס (נפטר ב-1048). (אהוואז היא בירת מחוז ח'וזסתאן באיראן של ימינו.) המסמך מדווח על וזיר שהגיע מטעם אבו כאליג'אר ועל אדם נוסף שהגיע לוואסט. שלושה נציגים (של התורכים?) יצאו לקבל את פניו; הוא הכעיס אותם, והם בתורם התעמרו בו. מקובל לסבור כי אבו כאליג'אר טיפח קשרים הדוקים מאוד עם ראש הדאעים הפאטמי ובן החצר אלמואייד אלשיראזי בעת שהותו בפרס, עוד לפני בואו של אלמואייד למצרים (ראו אלמואייד אלשיראזי, סירת אלמואייד פי אלדין דאעי אלדעאת). דרוש עיון נוסף.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Recto: State report. 4 lines preserved. Mentions "Bū Kalījār the king of Ahwāz," probably identical with the Buyid Amir Abū Kālījār Marzubān in Persia (d. 1048). (Ahwāz is the capital of Khuzestan province in present-day Iran.) The document reports on a wazīr who arrived from Abū Kālījār and somebody who reached Wāsiṭ. Three delegates (of the Turks?) went to greet him; he displeased them, and they in turn ill-treated him. Abū Kālijār is believed to have fostered very close ties with the Fatimid chief Dāʿī and courtier al-Muaʾyyad al-Shīrāzī in Persia, prior to his arrival to Egypt (See al-Muʾayyad al-Shīrāzī, Sīrat al-Muʾayyad fī l-dīn Dāʿī l-Duʿāt).
