מסמך משפטי מקהיר, מתוארך לסוף חשון ה'תקע"ח (1817), שבו דוד דיין מצהיר על שותפות השקעה עם ברכה גורן. במסמך מצוינת מלאכה ספציפית, אך הנזק נרחב מכדי לקרוא את מילת המפתח בעברית לאחר "מלאכת" בשורה 3. המסמך ספג נזקי מים, ולפיכך החתימה השלישית כנראה אבדה. עם זאת, חתימתו של ברכה גורן (או "גוריין", כפי שהוא עצמו כתב את שמו) שרדה, וכמוה גם חתימתו של הסופר/העד מאיר בן שלום בן-נעים.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal document from Cairo, dated 1817 CE (end of Heshvan 5578) in which David Dayyan declares an investment partnership with Barakha Goren. A specific profession is listed but the damage is too extensive to read the keyword in Hebrew after "מלאכת" in line 3. The document has sustained water damage, therefore, the third signature is likely lost but Berakha Goren's (or Gorīyn, as he wrote it) signature survives, as does that of the scribe/witness Meʾīr b. Shalom Ben-Naʿīm. MCD.
