מכתב או בקשה הממוען לנג'יב(?) אלדולה, בכתב ערבי. השולח מדווח שהגיע לביתו של הנמען אך לא הצליח לעשות דבר־מה. הוא שלח לו את הידיעות מן המכתב שהגיע עם אבו אלטיב, ומבקש שאבו נצר יקרא את המכתב. השולח מבקש מהנמען להמתין לו, או לחלופין ללכת לביתו של הראיס, שאותו ביקש אבו סלים(?) מהשולח. המכתב כולל מספר ניסוחים חלופיים של פסוקיות "ראי" (חוות דעת). סביב המכתב חשבונות בכתב ערבי המזכירים שמות כגון עלון, מוסא בן [...], אלמעלם יהודה, אלאנדלסי, ויוסף בן אסחאק. ניתן ככל הנראה לזהות את התאריך על סמך לוח השנה שבצד הרקטו.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter/petition to Najīb(?) al-Dawla. In Arabic script. The sender reports that he came to the addressee's house but was not able to do something. He has sent him the news from the letter that arrived with Abū l-Ṭayyib. Abū Naṣr should read the letter. He asks the addressee to wait for him, or else to go to the house of the Raʾīs, whiuch Abū Salīm(?) had requested from the sender. Includes multiple variants of raʾy clauses. Surrounded by accounts in Arabic script mentioning names such as ʿAllūn, Mūsā b. [...], al-muʿallim Yahūdhā (Yehuda), al-Andalusī, Yūsuf b. Isḥāq. The date should be identifiable based on the calendar on recto.
