רקטו: מכתב בערבית יהודית. מופנה לדיין יו[סף?]. מכיל ברכות פתיחה ארוכות, תפילה שנפטר ימצא רחמים ושהאל 'יצנן את מקום מנוחתו' (כלומר, לא גיהינום). לאחר מכן דן בעניין של כמה דינרים. בוורסו ישנם שרידים של מסמך בערבית.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Recto: Letter in Judaeo-Arabic. Addressed to the judge (al-dayyān) Yo[sef?]. Contains long opening greetings, a prayer that a deceased person will find mercy and that God will "make his resting place cold" (يبرد مضجعه), i.e., not Hell. Then discusses a matter of some dinars. Reused for writing practice between some of the lines. On verso there are remains of an Arabic document (see separate record).
