מכתב בכתב ערבי. כנראה מופנה אל אבו מֻחַמַּד עַבְדַּאללָה (שורה 2). השולח מדווח כי 'ארצות אלו' הן בדיוק כפי ששמע מבחינת שגשוג והזדמנויות. מוזכר 'החודש המבורך הזה' וברכות לאבו ל-טאהר. בגב ישנן רשימות נפרדות (חשבונות?) בכתב ערבי. נדרש עיון נוסף.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter in Arabic script. Possibly to Abū Muḥammad ʿAbdallāh (l. 2). The sender reports that "these lands" are just as he heard in terms of prosperity and opportunity. It is not clear where he is writing from. Mentions "this blessed month" and greetings to Abū l-Ṭāhir. On verso there are separate jottings (accounts?) in Arabic script. Needs further examination.
