מכתב מצדקה בן עיאש שבאלכסנדריה אל אבו נצר אלפצ'ל בן סהל אלתסתרי (הידוע גם בשמו העברי חסד בן ישר), בפוסטאט. התיארוך שנוי במחלוקת: לפי ברקת ובן-ששון המכתב נכתב סביב 1023, ואילו לפי גיל הוא מתוארך למאי 1027. עיקר המכתב עוסק במשלוחי סחורות אל המגרב וסיציליה. בנוסף, נזכר במכתב מסע הניצחון של אלמֻעִזּ בן בּאדיס, שליט אִפְריקִיה: "הגיעה הידיעה שהאמיר שרף אלדולה, יאריך האל את הדרו, שב לטריפולי והכריע את אויביו; אקווה שזה מדויק, בעזרת השם". Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Ṣedaqa b. ʿAyyāsh, in Alexandria, to Abū Naṣr al-Faḍl b. Sahl al-Tustarī (aka Ḥesed b. Yashar), in Fustat. Dating: ca. 1023 (Bareket and Ben-Sasson) or May 1027 (Gil). The letter deals with shipments of goods to the Maghreb and Sicily. The letter also mentions the triumphal march of al-Muʿizz b. Bādīs, ruler of Ifrīqiyya ("News came that the amīr Sharaf al-Dawla, may God prolong his glory, returned to Tripoli and defeated his enemies; I hope this is accurate, God willing").
