חשבונות מסחריים מפורטים לשנת 1526 לפי מניין שטרות = 611 להג'רה = 1214/15 לספירה, של סוחר משי ששימש גם כפרנס הקהילה. בן-שיחו המסחרי הופקד על גביית התחייבות שנתית עבור ר' יפתח, ועל כן פרט זה של כספי ציבור מופיע בתוך החשבון הפרטי של שני הסוחרים הללו. הסכומים שנגבו נזקפים לחובת בן-השיח המסחרי, ואילו התשלומים החודשיים בסך ארבעה דרהם לר' יפתח נזקפים לזכותו.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Detailed commercial accounts for the year 1526 Seleucid = 611 AH = 1214/15 CE of a silk merchant who served also as Parnas. His business correspondent was charged with collecting a yearly pledge for Yiftaḥ, wherefore this detail of communal finance appears in the private account of these two merchants. The sums collected are debited to the business correspondent, the monthly payments of four dirhams to R. Yiftaḥ are credited to him. (Information from Mediterranean Society, III, 465)
