מכתב בערבית-יהודית. הכותב והנמען אינם ידועים. תיארוך: לא מוקדם מהמאה ה-15, על סמך אזכור המטבע אשרפי. המכתב עוסק בהרחבה ניכרת בעניין של פתווא ובהתנהלות מול בתי הדין המוסלמים, ובכלל זה קאדי חנפי. מוזכרת רמלה. המסמך מגלה דמיון מבני מסוים לפרשה הקראית משנת 1465 הנדונה, בין היתר, אצל רוסטוב במאמרה "Karaites Real and Imagined" (Past & Present, 2007). דרושה בחינה נוספת.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter in Judaeo-Arabic. Writer and addressee unknown. Dating: No earlier than 15th century; mentions the currency ashrafī. The letter deals in great depth with a matter of a fatwā and dealings with the Muslim courts, including a Ḥanafī judge. Mentions Ramla. Bears some structural resemblance to the Qaraite case of 1465 discussed among other places in Rustow, "Karaites Real and Imagined," Past & Present (2007). Needs further examination.
