מכתב בקשת צדקה מאבו אלרצ'א בן פרג' אל הנגיד מבורך בן סעדיה, בשלב מוקדם של הקריירה שלו. כתוב בכתב יד יפהפה. לפי גויטיין, השולח כנראה הועסק בעבר על ידי מבורך. השם בצד האחורי כתוב ביד שונה מזו של המכתב בצד הקדמי (שנכתב כנראה על ידי סופר מקצועי). (חלק מהמידע מבוסס על כרטיסיית גויטיין.)
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter of appeal for charity from Abū l-Riḍā b. Faraj to the Nagid Mevorakh b. Saʿadya at an early point in his career. Beautifully written. The sender had probably formerly been employed by Mevorakh, according to Goitein. The name on verso is written in a different hand than the letter on recto (written by a professional scribe?).
