מכתב בערבית-יהודית. מדובר בקטע — החלק התחתון של המסמך בלבד. מבחינת תיארוך, סביר להניח שנכתב במאה ה-12 או ה-13, על פי אופי כתב היד. המכתב מופנה לאישה. השולח או השולחת מזכיר/ה את המספר 700; את האפשרות שהוא או היא ייתקלו בעיכוב של יותר מחמישה ימים מעבר ל"הבטחה" שניתנה להם (ככל הנראה תאריך מובטח לשיבה?); ובסיום נמסרות דרישות שלום לאנשי העיר, לאדם נוסף, ולאשתו של פח'ר.

The sender mentions the number 700; the possibility that (s)he will encounter a delay more than 5 days after the 'promise' (s)he made to them (a promised date of return?); greetings to the people of the town, to someone else, and to the wife of Fakhr.
