הקטע מורכב משני פיסות קלף שהודבקו זו לזו ליצירת רוטולוס של מתכוני רפואה מורכבים בערבית-יהודית. התיארוך: ייתכן שמדובר במאה ה-11 או אף קודם לכן. בחלק העליון של recto מצויים שני גושי טקסט בערבית, שדהו. בקטע התחתון מופיע מסמך משפטי בערבית. זהו שטר קנייה שבו אבו אל-חסן בן עבדאללה אל-[...] רוכש 12 חלקים (כלומר, מחצית) מנכס שמאפייניו מתוארים בהמשך. כתב היד נראה משתנה בשורה 10, אף שעדיין נראה שמדובר באותו מסמך עצמו. נדרשת בחינה נוספת.
Princeton Geniza Project description: This fragment consists of two pieces of parchment pasted together to assemble a rotulus of elaborate medical recipes in Judaeo-Arabic. Dating: possibly 11th century or even earlier. On the upper fragment of recto, there are two faded blocks of Arabic text. On the lower fragment, there is an Arabic legal document. It is a deed of purchase in which Abū l-Ḥasan b. ʿAbdallāh al-[...] purchases 12 shares (i.e., half) of a property whose features are then described. The handwriting seems to change in l. 10 even though it still seems to be the same document. Needs further examination.
