קטע ממכתב בכתב ערבי (חתיכה ימנית עליונה). הנמען מתבקש 'לשחרר' את הדינאר ולרכוש בד מקטע עבור השולח. 'עם מה שנשאר מהדינאר...' (הטקסט נחתך כאן). בצד הפנימי ייתכן שחלק מכתובת. גם פתקאות עבריות בצד הפנימי
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter fragment in Arabic script (upper right piece). The addressee is asked to "release" the dinar and purchase a maqṭaʿ cloth for the sender and perhaps to send it. "With what remains of the dinar. . ." (the text is cut off here). On recto there may be part of an address: ʿabd mawlānā ṣalawāt allāh ʿalayhi. . . wa-mamlūkuhū al-shaykh al-makīn. . . ." Recto also contains Hebrew jottings.
