רישום משפטי (מס' 92) בפנקס בית דין קראי בקהיר, בתחילת חודש אדר א' שנת ה'שכ"ה ליצירה (1565 לסה"נ). הסכם רכישה הנוגע למטאטאים או לזכויות טאטוא(?) בשוק הצורפים בקהיר, בין עבד אלרחמן בן ח'דר אלפולאדי לבין אברהם בן דוד הלוי, שיח' אליהוד (ראש היהודים). העמימות בשאלה האם הרכישה מתייחסת לפריטים פיזיים או למניות/זכויות עסקיות נובעת מן העובדה שהרכישה היא מתוך חלקו של אברהם בן 12 "כנסה"(?) בארציה (דמי קרקע או דמי אחסון) של שוק הצורפים. המוכר, אברהם הלוי, מעורב בעסקה נוספת באותו פנקס בית דין העוסקת בענייני טאטוא בשוק הצורפים מיוני 1565 לסה"נ. דרוש בירור נוסף.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal record (#92) in a court register/pinqas from a Karaite beit din in Cairo (on f. 31v of Yevr.-Arab. I 328). Dated at the beginning of the month of Adar I 5325 AM (1565 CE). Purchase agreement for brooms or sweeping privileges(?) in the Goldsmiths Market of Cairo between ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Khiḍr al-Fūlādī and Avraham b. David al-Levi Shaykh al-Yahūd. The ambiguity of whether the purchase relates to physical items or business shares/privileges stems from the fact that the purchase is from Avraham's "share of 12 כנסה(?) in the ground rent/storage charge (ארציה) of the Goldsmiths Market." The seller Avraham al-Levi is involved in another transaction in the same court register that deals with sweeping in the Goldsmiths Market in June 1565 CE (PGPID 41540). Requires further examination.
