מכתב משני כותבים אל ברהון בן מוסא אלתאהרתי: נהראי בן נסים כתב את צד הפנים (recto) ועיאש בן צדקה כתב את צד הגב (verso). המכתב נכתב ביום אסרו חג, ככל הנראה אסרו חג של פסח, שכן מסמך נוסף (PGPID 695) שנכתב בחודש ניסן עוסק באותו עניין עצמו — השגת שובר מס הגולגולת (ג'זיה) של נהראי לשנת 441 לה'ג'רה (1049/50 לספירה). מאחר שמס הגולגולת היה משולם לרוב במחצית הראשונה של השנה — בניגוד לדעתו של גיל שסבר כי הוא שולם בחודש האחרון של השנה — סביר להניח שהמכתב נכתב בשנת 1050 לספירה. תיארוכו של גיל את המסמך לאפריל 1051 לספירה פחות סביר, אך גם הוא אפשרי. מלבד עניין שובר המס, המכתב עוסק במגוון עסקים נוספים. עיאש מזכיר במכתבו כי בכוונתו לנסוע לרקה.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from both Nahray b. Nissim (recto) and ʿAyyāsh b. Ṣadaqa (verso) to Barhūn b. Mūsā al-Tāhartī. Written on Isru Ḥag (the day after the holiday), probably of Passover, as ENA 2805.14 (PGPID 695), written in Nisan, concerns the same issue of retrieving Nahray's capitation tax receipt for the year 441 AH (= 1049/50 CE). Given that the capitation tax was most often paid in the first half of the year (as opposed to the final month of the year as Gil believed), this letter most likely dates to 1050 CE. Gil's dating of the document to April 1051 CE is less likely but also possible. Apart from the tax receipt issue, deals with various other business matters. ʿAyyāsh mentions that he plans to travel to Raqqa. ASE
