מכתב מאדם קראי אל קהילתו, כתוב בעברית. הכותב מבקש לטהר את שמו מפני האשמתם של אבו אלמנא וחמותו של אבו אלמנא, שטענו כי גנב מהם חפץ בשווי שני דינרים. הוא מבקש שיוכרז חרם עליו אם הוא משקר, ועל מאשימיו אם הצדק עמו. בסוף המכתב הוא מציין שאינו שולט היטב בערבית ("אני 'כבד פה' בלשון הערבית"), ויתכן שזו אחת הסיבות לכך שהוא בוחר לכתוב מכתב במקום לטפל בעניין ישירות מול האישה המאשימה אותו.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from a Qaraite to his community. In Hebrew. Seeking to clear his name against the accusation of Abū l-Munā and Abū l-Munā's mother-in-law that he had stolen from them an item worth 2 dinars. He asks that a ban be proclaimed against him if he is lying and against his accusers if he is in the right. At the end he mentions that he is not fluent in Arabic ("I am 'heavy of mouth' in the Arabic language"), which may be part of why he is writing a letter rather than dealing directly with the woman accusing him.
