מכתב מאת פרחיה בן סהלאן באלכסנדריה, מתוארך בקירוב לשנת 1055. רק החלק התחתון של המכתב השתמר. המכתב מתייחס לאירוע מצער או אסון (فجيعة) שאירע לסחורתו של הנמען, אשר הגיעה מטריפולי שבלוב במגרב והייתה על אונייה יחד עם מוסלמי בשם יאסין. לאחר האירוע נמכר חלק מן הסחורה. המידע מבוסס על גיל.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Peraḥya b. Sahlān (Alexandria), ca. 1055. Only the bottom part of the letter is preserved. Refers to a incident/misfortune (فجيعة) involving the wares of the recipient, which arrived from Tripoli (Libya) in the Maghreb and were on a ship with a Muslim named Yāsīn.
