צד אחד: עדותו של אפרים בן צביאן הכהן. תיארוך: המאה ה-11. העדות מתארת כיצד יעקוב בן יעיש נסע בעת הצרות והרעב (צרות ורעב) לארץ חלב ומשם לרחבה, ולקח עמו את בתו ג'לילה בת מנשה. ככל הנראה הוא נפטר. הצד השני: לא ברור כיצד הוא קשור לראשון. כולל ביטויים כגון "כל שבחצר... לא אתה ולא אמך... כל שעזבתם, זה מה שנשאר...", ולאחר מכן תיאור של כמה בגדים יקרי ערך. המקום רחבה יכול להתייחס לכפר שבצפון לבנון או לעיר המבצר מימי הביניים שעל נהר הפרת (סמוך לאל-מיאדין שבסוריה של ימינו). Princeton Geniza Project description: One side: Testimony of Efrayim b. Ṣibyān ha-Kohen. Dating: 11th century. Describing how Yaʿqūb b. Yaʿīsh traveled in the time of the unrest and famine (צרות ורעב) to the country of Aleppo and from there to Raḥba, and took with him his daughter Jalīla bt. Menashshe. He apparently died. The other side: Unclear how it is related. Includes phrases such as "all that in the court... neither you nor your mother... everything that you (pl.) left, that is what remains...," then describes several valuable garments. The location Raḥba could refer to the village in northern Lebanon or the medieval fortress town on the Euphrates (near modern-day al-Miyādīn, Syria). (Information in part from Goitein's index card.)
