מכתב בכתב ערבי. נשמרו כחמש שורות בכל אחד מצדי הקטע, בנוסף לטקסט בשוליים. המכתב מתייחס למצבה הקשה של אישה (או של ישות נקבית) באותה שנה, ומזכיר מונחים מנהליים כגון נואחי (אזורים/מחוזות), דיואן (משרד ממשלתי) וחוכם אלמג'לס (פסיקת המועצה). הכתב נראה מעין-לשכתי (quasi-chancery), ותופעת העירום של קווי הבסיס (stacking of baselines), יחד עם הטרמינולוגיה הרשמית, מרמזים על כך שייתכן שמדובר בתכתובת רשמית שנכתבה בפורמט של מכתב. הקטע מכיל גם את הנוסחה הסטנדרטית של דו"ח ועצומה — "יֻנְהִי" (הוא מודיע/מביא לידיעה). דורש בדיקה נוספת.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter in Arabic script. Approximately 5 lines are preserved on both sides in addition to the marginal text. Refers to the difficult situation of a woman (or a female entity) this year, and mentions administrative terms such as nawāḥī, dīwān, ḥukm al-majlis. The script seems to be quasi-chancery, and the phenomenon of the stacking of baselines, and the official terminologies suggests that it may be an official correspondence written in a letter format. Also contains the standard report and petition formulaic "yunhī". Needs examination.
