Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Matitya Ashkenazi, in Rashīd, to his son Asher, in Fustat/Cairo. In Hebrew. Dating: second half of the 16th century. The sender reports on family affairs and his happiness on the birth of his grandson. He also reports on business matters and various commodities intended to be sold overseas (ll. 14–21).
