מכתב, ככל הנראה מאת [...] בן יוסף אל שמואל בן שלמה החבר. כתוב בעברית, ברובד לשוני גבוה. ארוך ומשתמר במצב גרוע. השולח משבח אדם בשם ישועה בן יצחק, אשר כפי הנראה ביקש ממנו לכתוב אל הנמען ויכול לערוב לו, וממשיך בתיאורו ובשבחיו של אותו אדם. בסיום הוא מזכיר שכתב את המכתב בחיפזון "לפני הארוס הנכבד" (כי כתבי זה כתבתיו בנחץ לפני הארוס הנכבד). Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter perhaps from [...] b. Yosef to Shemuʾel b. Shelomo he-Ḥaver. In Hebrew, in an elevated register. Long and poorly preserved. The sender praises a certain Yeshuʿa b. Yiṣḥaq, who it seems told him to write to the addressee and can vouch for him, and he continues with a description and praises of this person. He mentions at the end that he has written this letter in haste 'before the betrothed man' (? כי כתבי זה כתבתיו בנחץ לפני הארוס הנכבד). (Information in part from CUDL)
