שריד מראש כתובה (או שטר אירוסין?). הכלה: רתב או רותב (רתב) בת [...] בן יצחק הכהן השר. החתן: ישועה הכהן [בן ...]. המקום: פוסטאט. התאריך: חשון א'תר"ד למניין שטרות = אוקטובר/נובמבר 1292 לסה"נ, תחת סמכותו של דוד הראשון בן הרמב"ם, עם ברכה גם לבנו אברהם. גויטיין מציין כי המסמך מבחין בין התארים "מרינו" ו"מורינו" — הבחנה שאבדה בתקופות מאוחרות יותר (לרבות בעברית המודרנית). שמות העדים לא השתמרו. בראש המסמך כותרת מעוטרת באותיות גדולות, שרבות מהן מקושטות בפרחי ליליות (fleurs de lis) בעיצוב גס. Princeton Geniza Project description: Fragment from the top of a ketubba (or engagement contract?). Bride: Ratab or Rutab (רתב) bt. [...] b. Yiṣḥaq ha-Kohen ha-Sar. Groom: Yeshuʿa ha-Kohen [b. ...]. Location: Fustat. Dated: Ḥeshvan 1604 Seleucid = October/November 1292 CE), under the authority of David I Maimonides, also with a blessing for his son Avraham. Goitein notes that the document distinguishes between the titles מרינו and מורינו, a distinction which later became lost (including in modern Hebrew). The names of witnesses are not preserved. There is a decorative heading in larger letters in which many of the letters are decorated with crude fleurs de lis. (Information in part from CUDL)
