קטע מתעודה משפטית מפוסטאט, העוסקת בעסקיהם של מוסא בן אבו אלחי ואחרים, מתוארכת ל[איי]ר 1089 לספירה (1400 לשטרות). ייתכן שיש לקרוא את שם החודש כאדר, אך גוף המסמך מזכיר אירוע שהתרחש בניסן של אותה שנה (482 להג'רה). בשורות 4–7 נזכרת רשותו של הנשיא דוד בן דניאל. בין הדמויות הראשיות והעדים הנזכרים בתעודה: [אבו אסחאק?] אברהם הלוי בן טוביה הלוי, אבו עמראן משה בן אבו אלחי, ואבו עלי [י]פת הכהן בן סלמה (?) אלדלאל.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Folio from a court ledger in the hand of Hillel b. ʿEli. Location: Fustat. Recto: Dated Thursday, 23 Av 1400 = 2 August 1089 CE, under the authority of the Nasi David b. Daniʾel. Abū Ishāq Avraham b. Ṭoviyya ha-Levi comes before the court and states that he "has a testimony with" (lī shahāda maʿa) Abū ʿImrān Moshe Segulat ha-Yeshiva b. Abū l-Hayy and with Abū ʿAlī Yefet ha-Kohen b. Salmān al-Dallāl, and that he wishes for the testimony to be heard and recorded in the court register (shimmush bet din). First, Abū ʿImrān comes before the court and apparently reads aloud the content of his legal deed, involving business dealings in Tripoli; Naṣr; tasking people with collecting commodities; Avraham b. Ṭoviyya; and Abū l-ʿAlāʾ. This document was dated the last third of Nisan 482 AH. Then, Abū ʿAlī Yefet ha-Kohen comes before the court and presumably reads the content of his legal deed involving Avraham b. Ṭoviyya.
