מכתב הממוען לאדם נכבד (אולי אליהו הכהן אב בית הדין, שאליו פונים בברכה שלוש שורות מן השוליים התחתונים). נכתב בידי יפת בן דוד בן שכניה, בערבית-יהודית ובעברית. רק הצד הימני של המסמך השתמרו, ולכן קשה לשחזר את הסיפור במלואו, אך נראה שמדובר במכתב המלצה או בבקשת סיוע עבור אדם בעל שם טוב, ושיש בו זיקה כלשהי לאלכסנדריה ולענייני נישואין.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter addressed to an important person (perhaps Eliyyahu ha-Kohen Av Bet Din, who is greeted 3 lines from the bottom). In the hand of Yefet b. David b. Shekhanya. In Judaeo-Arabic and Hebrew. Only the right side is preserved, so the story is difficult to figure out, but the letter is a recommendation or request for help for a man with a good reputation and something to do with Alexandria and a marriage.
