מכתב מאדם בשם אבראהים (כפי שמופיע בוורסו, שורה 1). כתוב בכתב ערבי. הקטע מקוטע — רק הפינה הימנית-עליונה השתמרה. במכתב מוזכר אבראהים נוסף (רקטו, שורה 6), ונידונות בו עסקאות מסחריות שונות. בשוליים העליונים מופיע אזכור של ייפוי כוח או של פונדק (וכאלה / wikāla), וככל הנראה מדובר באפשרות הראשונה, שכן בשורה הבאה נכתב: "וסימן הבעלים עליו בשם המורשה" (وعلامة المالك عليه باسم الوكيل / wa-ʿalāmat al-mālik ʿalayhi bism al-wakīl). ייתכן גם שהמילה "מאלכ" (mālik) היא קיצור של "מאלכ אלרק" (mālik al-riqq, "בעל העבד"), ובמקרה זה היא מתייחסת לנמען המכתב.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from a certain Ibrāhīm (verso, l. 1). In Arabic script. Fragmentary (only the upper right corner is preserved). Mentions another Ibrāhīm (recto, l. 6) and discusses various business transactions. In the upper margin, mentions either a power of attorney or inn (wikāla), probably the former, since the next line mentions "the sign of the owner is on it in the name of the agent" (wa-ʿalāmat al-mālik ʿalyayhi bism al-wakīl). (The term "mālik" could also be short for mālik al-riqq, referring to the addressee.)
